BRAND QUESTIONNAIRE

I want to immerse myself into the heart of your business, to understand the core values, vision, and purpose. I want you to tell me the story.

The questionnaire requires an investment of your time, the questions will have you soul searching, exploring ideas and concepts you may not have considered. Each question requires a well thought out answer, every question has a purpose in helping me understand you, your business and most importantly your customer. In addition to the questionnaire I will also task you with finding visuals representatives – this is where we get to share a secret Pinterest board.

 

CREATIVE MEETING & MOOD BOARD

We will brainstorm some concepts for your brand, focusing on your brand values and business vision. We’ll then create a visual representation of your brief, workbook and our brainstorming session. Together we will analyse each image:-

  • Does it define the brand vision?
  • Does it form a part of the story you want to tell?
  • Does it represent, support your keywords?

 

LOGO

My favourite part – creating a logo, it’s where I craft a unique, bespoke logo that truly represents your brand vision. A distinctive logo may be made up of one or many elements such as an icon, logotype and a strap line.

TYPOGRAPHY (fonts, typeface)

With thousands of fonts to choose from knowing where to start can be bewildering. Which is why it’s important for us to understand the personality of your brand. Your brand will require at least 3 fonts, so we will ensure they are fit for purpose and reflect the brand personality.

COLOUR PALETTE

Understanding colour psychology is key when it comes to choosing a colour palette for your brand. We will take your brand keywords and choose colours that can communicate the core vision.

DESIGN ELEMENTS

Additional logo variations or icons are an extension to your brand and can be used across your collateral and website, so it’s good practice to consider how they can add substance to your marketing. Examples of where these could be used are stickers, stamp or watermark and digitally as a gravatar.

PATTERNS AND TEXTURES

Patterns and texture will add depth and substance to your brand. Whether they are a basic stripe or dot or a bespoke curated pattern crafted to represent your keywords and values.

PHOTOGRAPHY

As part of the branding process we will define the type and style of photography to portray your brand message.

This is where most people want to start and usually do without doing the homework of brand strategy. But without doing the homework, what is it based on? It’s likely just an aesthetic exercise. • Being able to articulate and position what your business stands for gives substance and and power to your brand. • The logo becomes just the tip of the iceberg of deep meaning throughout your business; the tagline expresses a significant point of your value proposition; and the visual style and copy voice and tone are all cohesive to your values and brand personality.
